Current HeadlinesNov 1, 2000 - 10 Digit DialingImportant Notice. Beginning today, you may need to add the 704 area code to your dialup number in order to access our service. Even if you do not today, we would recommend that you begin using 10 digit dialing now so you won't have to change your access number later.Note: 10 digit dialing is being "phased" in. There have been reports of the need for 10 digit dialing being intermittent (e.g., needed for calls within Alltel from Fri-Mon). To save yourself trouble, just go ahead and switch to 10 digit dialing now! There are a couple of ways to do this in your dialer. You can simply type in the 704 in the phone number field. You will need to do this in the properties for the connection, not just when you are connecting or the change will not save. The other way to set this is while you are connecting:
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is the price Charlotte must pay for its growth... Please call support at: 704-849-8017 if you are having trouble getting this change made or getting it to save permanently.

To help alleviate any frustration caused by unintentional blocking, we are currently allowing access
an interface which allows users who have filtering on their account to make realtime
changes to our filtering database.
FYI, unintentional blocking occurs when an adult web site
which our robot is indexing links back to a site which shouldn't be blocked. However, once
a site has been identified as incorrectly blocked in our database, it cannot be blocked
in the future :).
Please note that we will not tolerate any abuse of this database. All changes are logged
and notifications are sent by email to the account owner and filter administrator. We will audit the
changes in order to ensure that this access will not be abused.
In order to access the database, you will need to click on the 'Update Filter Database' link
when you see the blocking message. You will need to know the Email password for your account in order
to access the filter management screen.
